Eligibility for Refunds

Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis under the following circumstances:

  • The project has not yet started

  • No design, development, planning, or strategy work has been completed

  • A duplicate payment was made by mistake

  • A technical or billing error occurred

  • Local Rank Digital is unable to provide the agreed service

Before any refund is considered, we may review the project status, communication history, payment details, and work already completed.


Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:

  • You changed your mind after the project has started

  • Work has already been completed or partially completed

  • Website design concepts, planning, or development work has already begun

  • You failed to provide required content, information, images, access, or approvals

  • You are unsatisfied due to personal preference after approved work has been completed

  • Delays are caused by lack of client communication or missing project materials

  • You requested changes outside the original project scope

  • The website has already been delivered, published, or launched

Because website development is a custom service, time spent on your project cannot always be recovered.


Deposits & Upfront Payments

Any deposit or upfront payment made to begin a website project may be non-refundable once work has started.

This includes time spent on:

  • Project planning

  • Website structure

  • Design preparation

  • Content review

  • Development setup

  • Communication and consultation

  • Drafts or design concepts

  • Website build work


Revisions & Support First

We encourage clients to contact us before requesting a refund.

If there is an issue with your website project, we will first try to resolve it through:

  • Revisions

  • Technical support

  • Clarification

  • Adjustments within the agreed scope

  • Communication and project review

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Business name

  • Project name or service purchased

  • Payment date

  • Reason for the refund request

  • Any supporting details or screenshots, if applicable

We typically respond within 24 hours.


Refund Decision

If a refund is approved:

  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method where possible

  • Any unpaid work may be stopped immediately

  • Any access to project files, drafts, designs, or development work may be restricted

  • Any completed work may remain the property of Local Rank Digital until full payment is made

All refund decisions are made at the discretion of Local Rank Digital Pty Ltd, based on the project status and work already completed.
